He's Home!

Jackson was discharged from Vanderbilt Hospital yesterday at 12:30 PM. He and Juliette arrived safely at home and he's now resting in his new room (when he's not crying relentlessly). It's a great feeling to have him home, although it was quickly obvious that life here will never be the same again. :)

Here's a picture of the new family coming into the house for the first time:

And a few of the little guy himself:

J.R. & Juliette,
What great pictures! Did he sleep thru the night? I hope so...By the way, in the bottom two pictures, he looks like J.R., but in the top picture, he looks a lot like Juliette! I think that you will find he will look like both of you at various times. I hope you two (oops, three) have a great weekend!
Love,
Big Jim & Mimi

JR, Juliette, and Jackson--

We are so stoked that THE WHOLE FAMILY is home and well, and you are correct, life will never be the same.

May God and Jackson bless your home.

With love,
Erin, Dave, and Quinn.

Hello! My name is Stephanie Burns. I learned about your family through a prayer request at Highland Park Church.

You're baby boy is sooo precious! What a tough little guy!Congrats on going home! How exiting!

I know a lot about what you are going through... my son Will was born with three congenital heart defects. He also had a lengthy stay at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

Anyway, I thought I would tell you that I have been thinking and praying for you and I am so glad that Jackson is doing well.

Love,

Stephanie Burns

Juliette and JR,
We are glad to see the "whole family" together at home. There is nothing better that the feeling you get when every one is home and you feel completed by your family. I hope you three have a great week.
